Acrylic Keychains
Cast acrylic, UV printed, cut to your outline. Epoxy, holographic or flat — your call.
A standee is a keychain that stands up: the same cast acrylic and UV print, cut to your outline, but built to sit on a base instead of hanging off a bag. It carries character art, a logo, a sign or a photograph, and it works at keychain scale or as an A4 piece on a merch table.

SPECIFICATION
Rows read two ways. Figures stated plainly are standard for how we produce this product. Items marked “Confirmed with your quote” depend on your artwork, quantity or destination — they're fixed in the written spec sheet, not guessed here.
| Material | Cast acrylic (PMMA). Clear as standard; frosted and coloured stock on request. |
|---|---|
| Thickness | 3 mm standard, 5 mm on request — the same stock our keychains are cut from. |
| Size & shape | Die-cut to your outline, or a standard rectangle, rounded rectangle or circle. 80–150 mm on the longest edge is the recommended size for a desk or shelf piece; A4 and A5 sizes are quoted individually. Final dimensions go on your spec sheet. |
| Base | Clear round slotted base as standard, or one colour-matched to the piece. Shaped and heavier bases on request — the base is confirmed on your proof, because it decides whether the piece stands or tips. |
| UV flatbed, printed face as standard. White ink underlay behind photographs and dark artwork, so colour doesn't sit on clear plastic. | |
| Second face | A second face is a standard option — the same design on the reverse, or a different one: a name, a date, a short line. |
| Finish | Gloss as standard. Matte, and holographic or glitter bases, on request. |
| Construction | Single layer as standard. Double layer bonds a printed base under a clear face for depth, and keeps the print off the surface. |
| Cut line | Die-cutting follows the cut line in your file. Thin strokes, whiskers and narrow gaps are checked at final size before cutting — we say what will survive the blade and what to thicken. |
| Packaging | Individual OPP bag as standard. Backing card, header card or gift box on request. |
| MOQ | No fixed MOQ — we quote the quantity you need. |
| Confirmation | Physical sample, digital proof, run photos or first article — agreed with your quote. A standee is worth seeing standing up before the run. |
| Lead time | Around one week from payment to dispatch; around ten working days to arrive. |
| Artwork files | AI, PSD, PDF, PNG or SVG. Vector preferred, 300 dpi at final size. Around 3 mm of bleed, with text kept clear of the cut line — your written spec sheet confirms the exact figures for your order. |
NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH
Three acrylic formats that get used interchangeably in conversation and are not interchangeable in production. A keychain is cut with a hole and hardware, made to hang. A standee is cut with a base, made to stand — the artwork is usually bigger, and the base is a separate part. An acrylic block is a thick cast piece with the image inside it, not printed on the surface. If it hangs, you want keychains. If it stands, you want standees. If you want the depth of a paperweight, ask about blocks as a separate enquiry.
OPTIONS
Where it stands sets the size
A shelf piece is read from a metre away and can carry detail; a merch-table piece is read from arm's length and needs bigger shapes. Decide the position first — it moves the size more than the artwork does.
The base is half the product
A round slotted base is the standard and the most stable. Tall, narrow pieces tip forward unless the base is wider or heavier — if the silhouette is top-heavy, say so and we spec the base to it.
One layer or two
A single cut is lighter and cheaper. A second layer buys depth and puts the print behind clear acrylic, where it can't be scratched on a market stall.
Cut around the subject
The silhouette is what makes a standee read as that character, that pet, that object. Ears and tails survive the blade; loose fur, thin whiskers and fine type do not — we flag them before cutting.

Outlined in red is the standard build we quote unless you change it. Dimensions, hardware and per-piece price are confirmed on your written spec sheet — not here.
PHOTOGRAPHED
Real pieces from our own range — photographed as they are, not renders. Every order is built to the written spec sheet you approve before anything runs.
A NOTE ON SPECIFYING THIS PRODUCT
A standee is judged standing up, and that is the part most buyers spec last. Slot depth, base diameter and where the weight sits decide whether the piece faces you on a shelf or leans back into the wall — and artwork approved as a flat file can still fail that test. Decide the base with the artwork, not after it.
