Rows read two ways. Figures stated plainly are standard for how we produce this product. Items marked “Confirmed with your quote” depend on your artwork, quantity or destination — they're fixed in the written spec sheet, not guessed here.

Material	Tinplate shell with a Mylar film cover — standard pin-badge construction.
Size	25 mm, 32 mm, 44 mm and 58 mm as standard. Other sizes on request.
Print	Full-colour print on the paper insert, sealed under the clear Mylar cover.
Finish	Gloss, matte or holographic.
Backing	Safety-pin, butterfly clutch or magnet back — which one ships as the default goes on your quote.
Shape	Round as standard. Other shapes on request.
Packaging	Individual OPP bag as standard. Backing card on request.
MOQ	No fixed MOQ — we quote the quantity you need.
Confirmation	Physical sample, digital proof, run photos or first article — agreed with your quote.
Lead time	Confirmed with your quote
Artwork files	AI, PSD, PDF, PNG or SVG. Vector preferred, 300 dpi at final size. Around 3 mm of bleed, with text kept clear of the cut line — your written spec sheet confirms the exact figures for your order.

Button badges or enamel pins?

Both get called "pins", and they are different products. A button badge is a printed paper insert pressed under a clear film inside a thin metal shell — fast to make, low tooling cost, and it carries photographic artwork. An enamel pin is die-struck metal with coloured enamel fill — a different process, with different suppliers, tooling and unit economics. This page is about button badges. If you want enamel pins, send a reference: like any format outside our published specs, it starts with a feasibility check.

Badges come in fixed sizes. Decide the size before you finalise the artwork — detail that reads at 58 mm disappears at 25 mm.

Sets

Badges sell well in sets of three or four. We can run mixed designs within one order.

Backing

Safety pin, butterfly clutch or magnet back. The backing changes who can actually wear it.

A NOTE FROM SOMEONE WHO'S SOLD THESE

Badges are a size decision before they are a design decision, and most first-time buyers get that backwards. They finish the artwork, then discover the detail only works at a size that costs more per unit than the margin allows. Pick the size, then adapt the artwork to it — not the other way round.
